About Our Founder: David White

A Life Is Precious was founded and is operated by David White, whose personal journey inspired the organization’s mission to protect God’s preborn children. David’s life changed forever when he faced the reality of abortion firsthand, leading him to dedicate his life to saving others from similar pain.

A Life-Altering Experience

At 20 years old, in 1975, David and his girlfriend made the difficult decision to have an abortion. Wanting to support her, he asked to accompany her during the procedure. The doctor allowed him to witness the process, including the outcome. What David saw that day was life-changing and deeply traumatic. The experience was so intense that he suppressed the memory for nearly 50 years, unable to fully process the grief and guilt he carried.

The Emotional Aftermath

Although David could not recall the details after leaving the doctor’s office, the feelings of sadness, guilt, and self-loathing persisted for decades. He wrestled with these emotions without understanding their origin, leaving him with a sense of unresolved pain and remorse.

Redemption and Purpose Through God

When the time was right, God allowed David to fully remember the event he had buried. Through God’s mercy, he received forgiveness and healing, and the burden of guilt was lifted. This spiritual awakening transformed David’s heart. He realized his calling: to protect the lives of preborn children and to prevent others from enduring the emotional suffering caused by abortion.

Our Mission and Impact

Our goal is to shift public perception, affirming that every preborn life is sacred and deserving of protection.
